Why do I say this? Sarah Lacy writes today - Why aren't more Indians using twitter ? My response is this much. Facebook has it's 2nd highest penetration in India . So, all the ignorance arguments , are thrown out of the roof. Few points to illuminate -: a) External agencies cannot measure location, in mobile devices, if geotagging is not enabled. b)Twitter is a very mobile centric medium, and by default, Geotagging does not come enabled in Indian popular mobile devices. Lack of Domain Knowledge - Killing Akash

There have been a slew of Media reports reviewing the Akash. The tablet by the Indian Govt. worth Rs. 3000[$60]. As usual our so-called industry experts are doing a hitjob on the tablet. Why? There is no budget to entertain these experts with lunches and banquets. A review written by so-called leading technology publishing magazine CyberMedia editor Prasanto Roy has worked his head off to show serious concern for our students who will affected since, they dont get iPads, instead. Months before the announcement, every industry expert has been saying, this will be a stupid tablet. Ofcourse, the conflict of interest is quite clear. Akash does not have an advertising budget. The big guns have started promoting their own tablets. Reliance 3G is available at 12K. Some stories on Lord Jagannath

My special thanks to Purna Mishra from whose mail I received these stories When disciples of Prabhu Chaitanya asked why Jabana Hari Dasa could not visit Jagannath temple to offer his puja, Prabhu Chaitanya replied something like "... Jagannath visits Hari Dasa every day so where is the need for Hari Dasa to visit the temple ...". My approach to Puja or worshiping Jagannath can be classified as minimalist approach.
